Hey vbearsays!I just saw your post (featured above) about our review, and I just had a few things in response.1) Both Pete and I really enjoyed Moon. A lot. We both believe it was one of the best movies of last year and thought Sam Rockwell’s performance was Oscar worthy. Sumbitch got snubbed! Always does. I think the way they brought about the simple story was engaging, which is quite a feat considering there was one actor and Kevin Spacey’s voice for almost all of the film.2) The reason we did our opening spoof is because we wanted to play with our green screen format and see if we could pull off a clone-esque setting. We originally had a Blu Ray review of Moon, but cut it due to timing. No one wants to watch a 10-15 minute review. Also, often times “riff-ing” is a form of flattery. We enjoyed the movie so much, we wanted to give it a little ‘howdy doo, we love you.’3) Our blog is not suppose to be taken too seriously. Just listen to our opening song. Its playful and goofy, which is the vibe we are going for. We were just being silly, this is a side project for us and as soon as it becomes tedious or loses it’s spark of fun, it will be over. But in all seriousness, thank you for watching, we hope you stick around for the next one!
